Demond Meek shoots portraits and environmental portraiture. He is by nature not so meek and you can see his strong point of view in his blog. It's a real treat as his fullscreen website. Love this image.

Julie Grahame is a photo industry veteran of 20 years and my wife. An ex-owner of Retna, the independent image licensing company, and a current representative of The Estate of Yousuf Karsh, she knows a thing or two about images. We collaborated on aCurator after working with ZOOZOOM. It's getting a great response.
Mark Katzman is an advertising and lifestyle photographer: you'll recognize his beautiful work for Jack Daniel's. He is also a gifted and skilled practitioner of his craft, recognized by TED, Harvard and The Library of Congress. See more of this at The Art of the Photogravure. More importantly for me, he was great to work with. This is a photo of Austin, a deaf and blind boy. I think it speaks to Mark's ability to make a connection with his subject, whomever that is.
Leland's is another site that has been updated several times since I last blogged about it. This image shows the current site opening, in which I am featured, in an angry pose. Leland's neo-burlesque work is fantastic, who's your favorite?
I love Eric's work. He's a great photographer. We have been updating the site and not telling you for a few years now. Since Eric's website was featured on the cover of American Photo, we have added thumbnails to the site, and this week, we added a video opener as a hint of what's to come.
A new blog for aCurator. aCurator says 'I love my blog, never thought I'd be saying that.'
Built using custom templates for Movable Type and fully updateable by aCurator.
Left / Right produce TV at both ends of the spectrum. 'This American Life' tells extraordinary stories about ordinary Americans, not quite a documentary, nor a news magazine, and definitely not a reality show. At the other end, there's 'I Want To Work For Diddy' ... definitely reality TV.
We built Ted's first site (an award winner, PDN Digital Imaging Award 2003). Then we updated it to be fullscreen. Now we've launched a completely new site for Ted. It's a beautiful black background portfolio, designed to create the maximum impact we could when viewing images (and video) online.
Yousuf Karsh is possibly one of the greatest photographers ever. This is the official site of the Estate of Yousuf Karsh. It is a multimedia retrospective of his life and work: photographs, news and exhibitions, bibliography. It's thoroughly modern whilst maintaining the traditional simplicity and elegance demanded by the work of Karsh.
Morrison Hotel Gallery sell the finest music photography. The shot in the screengrab is by Barry Feinstein, and is of Hollywood in 1963. The site is mainly full of fantastic images of the music icons of the 50's through to the 80's. It's a treat to browse. You can see Janette's work on here and much more.
