Congratulations Julie. aCurator is PDN's Online Magazine Pick of the Month. bigflannel gets a mention too. The aCurator magazine is getting a great response. Right now the 'Black Cowboys of America' are on the cover and I am wondering if you can hire them to perform urban rescues?
Today, I got a Gawker Gold Star for all my hard work commenting on their site. Thank you Apple for providing me, of late, with the necessary bile to rise to the challenge of a fitting and funny comment worthy of Gawker and its commenters.

I'm a Yorkshire man. This past summer I visited Yorkshire Sculpture Park where my brother once studied Drama and my Dad let me know a replica of a sheep pen by Andy Goldsworthy, although skilled, was not art. I like Andy's work and have visited it at the Storm King Art Center. But back to Antony Gormley, his figures were dotted around YSP and now one is on my roof here at 1123 Broadway, NYC as part of the Event Horizon exhibition. Nice.
I love Eric's work. I have a print of his already. I am looking forward to his first solo exhibition, a half remembered season, at hous projects. The opening is March 18, 6-10pm.
Congratulations Leland! Three images from his series of portraits of Neo-Burlesque performers won bronze awards in the 2009 International Aperture Awards Competition. Dottie Lux is featured here, in her words:
"Writing is all about words; burlesque very often has no words. So I'm figuring out how to write without words . . . burlesque is art on a dime."
Leland's is another site that has been updated several times since I last blogged about it. This image shows the current site opening, in which I am featured, in an angry pose. Leland's neo-burlesque work is fantastic, who's your favorite?
I love Eric's work. He's a great photographer. We have been updating the site and not telling you for a few years now. Since Eric's website was featured on the cover of American Photo, we have added thumbnails to the site, and this week, we added a video opener as a hint of what's to come.
